Job Description

Destinus, an innovative aerospace technology company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their R&D and Sales Engineering team. This role focuses on developing internal application solutions for controlling, displaying, and monitoring battlefield systems under test. The position involves creating remote control solutions for next-generation battlefield systems, particularly focusing on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing software tools with efficient GUIs, implementing real-time communication infrastructure between battlefield assets and operators, and building critical software solutions for flight control, navigation, and guidance systems. This role requires end-to-end ownership of software development cycles and continuous evaluation of new technologies for autonomous flight systems.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer

  • Develop and implement software tools with efficient GUI for end-users
  • Develop infrastructure for real time communication between battlefield assets and operators
  • Build, test and deploy software solutions for flight control, navigation, guidance and sensor data processing
  • Take end-to-end ownership of software development cycles

Requirements For Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
  • Network Security Experience (plus)
  • Experience in interfacing applications with remote sensors (plus)
  • Experience in protocols such as CAN, Serial, TCP/IP (plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • English language (mandatory), French and/or Spanish (beneficial)
