Responsibilities For Production Support Engineer, AS
- Provide application support and maintain operational environment for multiple applications
- Manage incidents from detection to resolution
- Improve production support processes and ITIL practices
- Reduce manual interventions and maintain compliance with bank policies
- Document and maintain OLAs, SLAs and knowledge bases
- Ensure timely delivery of key data feeds and services within SLAs
- Own the production environment and act as gatekeeper for all changes
Requirements For Production Support Engineer, AS
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
- Experience in using UNIX/Linux and Oracle databases
- Knowledge of scripting languages (shell/PERL/Python)
- Knowledge of standard application development technologies like Java
- Experience with monitoring/scheduling software (Geneos, Splunk, Control-M, Autosys)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS) preferred
- Knowledge of the Agile method of software development
- Knowledge of task automation (e.g. Ansible)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with global teams
