Devsu is seeking a Senior .NET Umbraco Developer to lead the upgrade and optimization of a large-scale CMS platform. This remote position, available across Latin America, offers an exciting opportunity to take full technical ownership of critical software projects used by major U.S. clients. The role involves working with modern .NET/C# technologies and Umbraco CMS (v8+) to refactor templates, enhance system performance, and ensure seamless functionality across integrations. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with Umbraco CMS and strong proficiency in .NET/C# development. Responsibilities For .NET Umbraco Developer (Remote - Latin America)
- Assess the current Umbraco CMS infrastructure and design a comprehensive migration strategy
- Lead the upgrade process from Umbraco v8+ to the latest stable version
- Refactor or rebuild Razor views, templates, and custom components using .NET/C#
- Maintain and test integration points such as APIs, databases, and external services
- Apply security standards and performance optimization techniques
- Work closely with design, product, and QA teams
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues while maintaining documentation
Requirements For .NET Umbraco Developer (Remote - Latin America)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS (version 8 or above)
- Proficiency in .NET/C#, Razor views, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and component-based design
- Experience with SQL Server and relational database structures
- Comfortable working with Git and modern version control workflows
- Self-driven with ability to plan, manage, and deliver technical projects independently
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (nice to have)
- Exposure to headless CMS or hybrid content delivery architectures (nice to have)
- Awareness of SEO and CMS performance optimization best practices (nice to have)
- Experience using monitoring/debugging tools for large-scale CMS systems (nice to have)
