We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Berlin office in a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in-office required).
As a Senior Frontend Developer reporting to an Engineering Manager, you'll be instrumental in architecting and developing complex frontend applications using React and Next.js. The role combines frontend expertise with backend-for-frontend responsibilities using Golang, making it an exciting opportunity for a full-stack-leaning frontend developer.
Your responsibilities will span from writing clean, maintainable TypeScript code to implementing comprehensive automated tests using Cypress and Jest. You'll be involved in designing and implementing data visualizations, contributing to architectural decisions, and maintaining high engineering standards.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of frontend development experience, with deep expertise in React and Next.js. You should be comfortable with modern frontend development practices, automated testing, and Docker. While frontend is the primary focus, willingness to work with Golang for backend-for-frontend development is essential.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer
- Architect and develop complex and scalable frontend applications using React and Next.js
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using TypeScript
- Implement and maintain comprehensive automated tests using Cypress and Jest
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Design and implement efficient data visualizations and interactive dashboards
- Take ownership of the backend for frontend layer, developing and maintaining services using Golang
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and promote best practices
- Utilize Docker for local development and deployment
- Research and evaluate new technologies to improve frontend architecture
- Maintain high standard of code quality and engineering excellence
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer
- 5+ years experience in frontend development with React and Next.js
