Lead Analytical Engineer, Product & Technology Analytics

Disney Streaming is seeking a Lead Analytical Engineer to join the Product Performance and Forensics Analytics team within the broader Product & Technology Analytics function. This is a highly visible and technically complex role where you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, creating core business logic, and ensuring high data quality standards across browse telemetry and product health metrics.

The role sits at the intersection of engineering and analytics, working with Disney's premier streaming platforms including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN. You'll be collaborating with analysts, data engineers, product managers, and engineering partners to transform raw telemetry into trusted datasets, dashboards, and insights that drive decision-making across these major streaming platforms.

As a Lead Analytical Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, developing reusable data models, and ensuring data quality standards. You'll work on anomaly detection systems, operational dashboards, and build scalable datasets using modern tools like Databricks, Looker, and Snowflake. The role also involves mentorship of junior team members and establishing best practices for coding and data governance.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 - $195,000 depending on location (LA or NY), plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives. You'll be part of Disney Direct to Consumer, overseeing the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company's best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
