Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company's premier vacation brands including Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club.

We seek an experienced Lead QA Performance Engineer to join our Performance Engineering team. This is an 18-month Project Hire role through February 2027. The role involves leading performance testing and analysis of critical services, troubleshooting performance issues with Cloud services and applications, and recommending accurate Cloud scaling parameters for services in Load and Production environments.

As a Lead QA Performance Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading performance testing projects and coordinating with business partners
  • Analyzing complex architectures and building comprehensive testing plans
  • Managing capacity and scaling of cloud services
  • Mentoring other performance engineers
  • Communicating project status to leadership

Technical requirements include expertise in:

  • Performance Engineering fundamentals
  • JMeter scripting
  • APM tools (Cloudwatch, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana)
  • AWS Cloud & Containerization
  • Java fundamentals
  • Database systems (MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Caching technologies (Redis)

  • Experience with AWS Cloud & Containerization
