Disney Experiences (DX) is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Disney Cruise Line HR Crew Systems organization. This role will be instrumental in transforming DCL Crew HR systems integration with Disney's Enterprise Human Resource Platforms.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's leading entertainment companies, specifically focusing on the technology that powers Disney's premier vacation brands including Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Disney Vacation Club.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for championing custom software projects to interface with new HR systems, improving support channels, and engaging in company initiatives in the HR Crew space. You'll work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure the delivery of best-in-class solutions for business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of sophisticated software programs and systems, mentoring team members, defining technical specifications, and ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices implementation. You'll be working with modern technologies including Java, SpringBoot, Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, and various AWS services.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of related experience, strong technical expertise, and leadership capabilities. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment and have experience with pull request reviews, UML diagrams, and relational databases. Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
