Description For Principal GenAI Security Engineer

We're seeking a Principal GenAI Security Engineer to join our JedAI Platform team at Disney Experiences. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable, safe, and ethical deployment of high-quality AI solutions within highly visible strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Generative AI and LLMs, with a proven track record of ethical hacking or red teaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a dedicated responsible AI red teaming model
  • Create and maintain a toolkit for generating automated prompts against AI products
  • Define and standardize reliable, responsible, governable, traceable, and equitable AI capabilities
  • Discover and exploit Responsible AI vulnerabilities
  • Develop methodologies to scale and accelerate responsible AI Red Teaming
  • Collaborate with enterprise cyber/security teams
  • Research and develop Responsible AI evaluation methods
  • Create evaluation datasets for complex analysis problems
  • Lead and influence engineering teams in implementing frameworks for LLM application deployment

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of related work experience
  • Strong programming skills (SQL, Spark, Python, R, or Scala)
  • Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics
  • Proven ability to conduct and interpret experiments
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Expertise in ethical AI deployment
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)

This role offers a competitive salary range of $167,800 to $225,000 per year in Glendale/Anaheim, CA, and $175,800 to $235,700 per year in Seattle, WA. The package includes bonuses, long-term incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
