Disney CreativeWorks Studio is seeking a Senior Manager, Design and Motion Graphics to lead and create multi-platform design and motion graphics for revenue-generating creative campaigns across Disney Entertainment IP and brands– including Hulu, ABC, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo, Disney Channels, and Disney+.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for inspiring and creating great design creative, as well as managing design solutions from both staff and vendors. An ability to navigate tight deadlines, create across a wide portfolio of IP and brands, as well as collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders are critical required skills. The Sr Manager will be responsible for inspiring the best creative output and maintaining continuity and quality control while perpetuating creative and design aesthetics across all deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CreativeWorks team to concept and create design and motion graphic solutions for client campaigns
- Direct and manage other designers and motion graphics artists
- Develop, lead, and/or manage the creation of support materials
- Effectively manage design workflow, project schedules, delivery specs, etc.
- Work with DET Marketing and other stakeholders to understand brand guidelines, priorities, and creative considerations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in motion graphics & design video content
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in creative team management
- Ad Agency or other client-facing experience preferred
- Proficient in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Keynote
- Advanced skills in design and animation software/technologies
- Experience with Maya, Cinema 4D and Houdini strongly preferred
- Experience in streaming media, film/video production, and visual effects strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
The hiring range for this position in California is $135,000 to $181,000 per year, with additional benefits and potential bonuses.
