Senior Principal Software Engineer, Enterprise Tools and Data

As a Senior Principal Engineer in the Enterprise Tools team, you will shape the future of enterprise tools including Order Management, Customer Relationship Management, Salesforce, and financial systems. This is a highly influential technical leadership role where you'll set directions for fleets associated with critical business systems while partnering with executive leadership across engineering, product and data to align strategies with company-wide priorities.

The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic leadership - you'll be accountable for quality code delivery to production through a gated review process while also engaging early with product teams on requirements. You'll serve as a thought leader and mentor, elevating other senior engineers and helping build a culture of technical excellence and innovation across the organization.

Key focus areas include:

• Leading highly visible multidisciplinary projects and initiatives
• Providing technical thought leadership that influences company-wide strategy
• Designing and implementing data integration solutions across enterprise systems
• Optimizing system performance and implementing caching mechanisms
• Mentoring and developing other technical leaders

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in data technologies (Databricks, Spark, AWS etc.), enterprise systems (CRM, OMS, financials), and a track record of technical leadership on complex initiatives. You'll work at the intersection of technology and business, helping shape the future of Disney's enterprise technology landscape.
