Job Description

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead their programmatic advertising initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of technology and media, working on the technological backbone of Disney's global media business.

The position is part of the Ad Platforms team, responsible for Disney's industry-leading ad technology and products. As a Senior Principal Engineer, you'll shape the future of programmatic advertising, including both SSP and DSP vendors, and real-time bidding systems. You'll be one of the most senior technical leaders in the organization, setting architectural directions for fleets associated with programmatic, digital asset management, and campaign management.

The role offers unique opportunities to work with Disney's impressive portfolio of media brands including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, ABC, and ABC News. You'll be developing and implementing groundbreaking products that shape industry norms while solving complex technical problems at massive scale.

Key responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary projects, establishing architectural standards, mentoring engineering teams, and partnering with executive leadership across engineering, product, and data teams. Requirements For Senior Principal Software Engineer, Programmatic Advertising
