Senior Software Engineer - Activation

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Activation team to build and maintain data sharing platforms. This role is crucial in processing data at scale and requires expertise in building scalable, fault-tolerant data products. The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, and Spark, using languages like Scala, Python, SQL, and Java.

The role sits within the Commerce, Data & Identity division, which provides core product management functions crucial to Disney's media businesses. This includes powering digital commerce, identity, growth initiatives, and managing data engineering and science across Disney Entertainment & ESPN.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be part of a team building the technological backbone for Disney's global media business. You'll work on projects that directly impact millions of users across major platforms like Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, ABC, and ABC News.
