Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the future of Ad Technology's Generative AI platform. This role combines cutting-edge AI implementation with practical business solutions, focusing on building reusable capabilities and intelligent agents that streamline critical operational workflows.
The position sits within the Ad Platforms team, responsible for Disney's industry-leading ad technology and products across all media platforms. You'll work at the intersection of backend systems, AI orchestration, platform architecture, and enterprise automation, helping to shape how modern AI tools are applied to real operational challenges in one of the most advanced ad tech environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building reusable GenAI platform components
- Developing multi-turn LLM agents using LangGraph and LangChain
- Building robust APIs and SDKs for internal teams
- Ensuring platform components meet security and compliance standards
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI workflows

Requirements For Senior Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience
- Hands-on experience integrating with LLM APIs
- Proficient in Python
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar LLM orchestration frameworks
- Experience with observability practices for LLM-based systems
- Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns
- Working knowledge of vector databases
- Experience building modular, reusable GenAI components
