The Product Engineering team is seeking a Senior Software Development in Test Engineer to join our Engineering Services team to build test automation and processes to ensure the quality of our advertising systems. When our systems work properly, they are able to reliably deliver relevant ads to all of our viewers, driving higher revenue for our business and helping customers discover relevant brands and products.

The role involves developing automated test frameworks and suites, participating in design discussions, and driving software engineering best practices within the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing automated test frameworks on UI, API and Integration levels
- Working with Software Engineers to understand the advertising ecosystem
- Building robust, fault-tolerant, and cloud-native architectures
- Leading multiple projects using Agile methodology
- Driving conversion of manual tests to automated processes
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on software test development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar OO languages
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of UI automation tools like Selenium
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET)
- Work closely with Software Engineers to understand the complex advertising ecosystem
- Develop automated test frameworks and suites on UI, API and Integration levels
- Participate in design discussions for platform evolution
- Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues
- Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests
- Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible
- Build architectures which are robust, fault-tolerant, and cloud-native
- Technically lead and deliver multiple projects utilizing Agile methodology
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software test development experience
- Proficiency with Python or other OO language
- Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches
- Experience building or improving test automation frameworks
- Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker
- Proficiency in UI automation (Selenium, Robot, Watir)
- Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD)
- B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent degree or work experience)
