Job Description

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform Engineering infrastructure team within Disney's Ad Technology organization. This role is crucial in providing automation, custom tooling, and infrastructure support that enables teams across the organization to deliver products efficiently and safely.

The position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and entertainment, building the future of Disney's media infrastructure. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable platforms using technologies like TypeScript, Python, and Go. You'll work with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and modern DevOps practices including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.

The role involves building and improving core infrastructure components, participating in on-call rotations, and working closely with multiple engineering teams to streamline operations. You'll be handling everything from Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments to maintaining Istio networking implementations, while using Datadog for monitoring and observability.

Disney offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $136,038 to $182,490 per year, plus bonuses and long-term incentives. The position is based in Glendale, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement.
