Job Description

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Activation team, focusing on building and maintaining Activation Data products that serve as the data sharing platform. This role combines big data engineering with backend development to process data at scale and unlock capabilities across software and data disciplines.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, and Spark, utilizing languages such as Scala, Python, SQL, and Java. You'll be responsible for building scalable, fault-tolerant data products ensuring reliable delivery of both real-time and batch data.

As part of Disney's media technology team, you'll be at the forefront of building the future of Disney's media platforms, working with globally recognized brands like Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, and ABC. The role offers unique opportunities to solve complex technical problems at massive scale, impacting millions of users worldwide.
