Sr Software Engineer

Disney is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their technology team focused on building and improving Disney's Online Platform, specifically in Ticketing Products. The role involves working on critical systems supporting Disneyland and Walt Disney World, including tickets, annual passes, special events, and park reservations.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to products that directly impact millions of Disney park visitors. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take end-to-end ownership of backend services, from ideation through deployment and monitoring. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and AWS services, with a strong emphasis on building scalable, reliable systems.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of backend development experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a large enterprise environment. You'll be working with a modern tech stack including Docker, AWS services, and various databases, while having the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $140,000 to $170,000 per year, plus additional benefits including bonus potential, long-term incentives, and comprehensive medical and financial benefits.
