Job Description
Dodo, Inc. builds AI voice agents that answer phones and schedule appointments for clinics. As a venture-backed company by YCombinator, they've achieved ~$1M ARR and are rapidly scaling across hundreds of locations. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own onboarding and ensure the ongoing success of an initial cohort of approximately 20 clinics, diagnosing issues, and implementing fixes/configuration changes to maintain agent reliability.
Your day-to-day tasks will include setting up new clinics, monitoring conversations, triaging and resolving agent errors (e.g., wrong responses, missed tool calls), adjusting prompts and configurations, and making minor product changes. You will be customer-facing for about 40-60% of your time, with the remainder focused on technical tasks. There is room to code more if desired.
The compensation package includes a salary range of $140k–$220k and equity between 0.3%–1.0%. The position is in-person in San Francisco, CA, though remote work is considered for exceptional candidates. Dodo, Inc. supports OPT/O-1/H-1B transfers (no new sponsorships at this time).
