Dotdash Meredith, America's largest digital and print publisher, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join their team in New York. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated web applications using a mix of modern frontend technologies and Java backend development.

The position involves developing responsive and elegant cross-platform functionality using a custom server-side component framework. You'll be working with technologies like Java, SCSS, Freemarker templates, and ES6, with VueJS for interactive components. As part of a dedicated scrum team, you'll collaborate directly with designers, QA, and product owners to bring product visions to life.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in building interactive web applications, with strong expertise in frontend technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS/SCSS. Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot is a plus. You'll be working in an Agile environment with 2-week sprints, participating in code reviews, and maintaining high standards of quality.
