DroneDeploy is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity across multiple US locations. The position focuses on infrastructure automation, system observability, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams, including ML Ops.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer (Remote - Multiple locations)
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure platform reliability and performance
- Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Collaborate with engineering teams to foster shared responsibility and effective communication
- Promote observability and monitor systems to anticipate and address potential issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production incidents and support platform stability
- Contribute expertise while continuously learning new technologies and best practices
- Address support tickets and assist in maintaining operational excellence
Requirements For DevOps Engineer (Remote - Multiple locations)
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience developing and maintaining software applications, particularly in Python or Golang
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Skilled in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration; Kubernetes experience is a plus
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across distributed teams
