The position requires 6-10 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
As a Lead Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving the development and delivery of key product features end-to-end, working with a modern tech stack including Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL. You'll provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance while remaining hands-on in development. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable systems.
Key responsibilities include leading system design and architecture decisions, ensuring project delivery with high quality, conducting code reviews, and championing modern development practices like CI/CD and AI-powered tools. Responsibilities For Lead Engineer - Full-Stack
- Lead the planning, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of major product features and systems
- Define system design and architectural choices focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality
- Build and optimize full-stack applications using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers
- Lead efforts to improve performance (TTFB, LCP, Lighthouse)
- Work with cross-functional teams to align business goals with technical execution
- Champion CI/CD, testing, documentation, and AI-powered developer tools
Requirements For Lead Engineer - Full-Stack
- 6–10 years of professional experience in full-stack web development
- 2+ years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of user interface/experience principles
- Project & Release Management experience
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, and Node.js
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed system patterns
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in developing/maintaining scalable e-commerce applications (preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS stack (preferred)
