Responsibilities For Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote - India)
- Take end-to-end ownership of product features — from planning, design, and development to deployment and monitoring
- Define and guide system architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
- Lead full-stack development using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL
- Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
- Drive performance improvements across the stack (TTFB, LCP, Lighthouse) and ensure system reliability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business objectives
- Champion best practices in CI/CD, testing, documentation, and the use of AI-powered developer tools
Requirements For Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote - India)
- 6–10 years of experience in full-stack web development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven track record of leading projects end-to-end, from technical scoping through deployment
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js (SSR, routing, data fetching), and Node.js
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and performance optimization
- Experience in project and release management, including task breakdown, delegation, and stakeholder communication
- Strong team management and mentorship skills, fostering accountability and professional growth
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Preferred: Experience with scalable e-commerce platforms and AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
