Responsibilities For Principal Engineer, Process Automation
- Lead design activities, analysis, modification, and integration of robotics and automation technologies
- Complete proposals for funding of automation solutions
- Lead cross-functional collaboration for technical experiments and prototype design
- Lead improvement activities within teams and manufacturing processes
- Train, coach, and guide junior/senior engineers on complex technical tasks
- Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices
- Develop bespoke automation solutions based on technology roadmap
- Manage solution provider/supplier selection and relationships
Requirements For Principal Engineer, Process Automation
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field
- Minimum 6 years experience working in automation domain
- Expert skills in mechanical design, PLC programming, robotics, or vision systems
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical device industry
