Responsibilities For Embedded Systems Firmware Developer

  • Participate in defining firmware subsystem requirements and architecture
  • Write code to meet firmware requirements following applicable design patterns
  • Provide input into firmware verification strategies, write unit tests, and review protocols
  • Follow design controls and risk management SOPs
  • Work with partners on software design and development
  • Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, BLE analyzers, logic analyzers

Requirements For Embedded Systems Firmware Developer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent STEM field
  • 5+ years' experience in C-based embedded firmware development
  • Experience with RF communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee)
  • Experience with ARM Core-based hardware architectures
  • Knowledge of international standards ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and IEC 60601
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
