Job Description

Emesent, a world-leading company in drone autonomy and LiDAR mapping, is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join their innovative team in Brisbane. This role is crucial in developing next-generation cloud computing workflows, focusing on processing, colorizing, filtering, and visualizing LIDAR point cloud data.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the robotics and mapping industry. As part of a 100+ strong team of roboticists and engineers, you'll be contributing to Hovermap, their flagship product that combines advanced collision avoidance and autonomous flight technologies for mapping hazardous and GPS-denied environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and AWS, with the ability to architect and implement complex end-to-end solutions. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, participating in code reviews, and leading technical designs for significant features. The role requires both technical excellence and strong communication skills, as you'll be interfacing with various stakeholders, from product managers to engineering leadership.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Developer

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code across our stack
  • Create new APIs and UIs using TypeScript and React
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive experiences
  • Make improvements to architecture and tooling
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Architect and implement complex end-to-end system solutions
  • Lead and participate in code reviews
  • Create and document technical designs
  • Work with product managers to scope new work

Requirements For Full Stack Developer

  • Proficient in TypeScript and React with strong ecosystem understanding
  • Demonstrated experience in full-stack development
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience with AWS, serverless technologies, and infrastructure as code
