Responsibilities For Ruby on Rails Developer Trainee

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under supervision
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues with applications and contribute to fixes
  • Learn and apply Git/GitHub workflows for version control and collaboration
  • Support integration of front-end elements with server-side logic
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices in software engineering
  • Document features, bugs, and technical processes for future reference
  • Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and techniques to grow as a developer

Requirements For Ruby on Rails Developer Trainee

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or currently pursuing equivalent studies; or relevant bootcamp/technical training
  • Familiarity with Ruby or another programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript)

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
