Responsibilities For Ruby on Rails Developer Trainee
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under supervision
- Debug and troubleshoot issues with applications and contribute to fixes
- Learn and apply Git/GitHub workflows for version control and collaboration
- Support integration of front-end elements with server-side logic
- Participate in code reviews to learn best practices in software engineering
- Document features, bugs, and technical processes for future reference
- Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and techniques to grow as a developer
Requirements For Ruby on Rails Developer Trainee
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or currently pursuing equivalent studies; or relevant bootcamp/technical training
- Familiarity with Ruby or another programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Basic understanding of web development concepts: MVC architecture, REST APIs, databases
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Eagerness to learn relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, agile environment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
