Responsibilities For Lead Construction Engineer - Electrical
- Lead and manage all electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Supervise on-site electrical installations, conducting inspections to verify that materials, tools, and methods adhere to project and industry standards
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols
- Review and approve electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and other technical documents
- Develop and manage detailed schedules for electrical construction activities
- Conduct regular site assessments for quality control and compliance
- Prepare and submit progress updates, technical assessments, and project documentation
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of electrical systems
Requirements For Lead Construction Engineer - Electrical
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical construction within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors
- At least 5 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or equivalent certifications preferred
- Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, SKM Power Tools)
