EPOS Global Solutions Sdn Bhd, a leading Point-of-Sale (POS) digital solutions provider, is seeking a Data and Automation Engineer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Data and Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, implementing automation solutions, and ensuring seamless CRM integration. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to handle and process data efficiently, supporting both sales operations and market research initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing ETL processes, creating automated workflows, and maintaining data quality across systems. You'll work with modern tools and technologies including Python, SQL, and various automation platforms like Zapier and UiPath. The role requires both technical expertise and business acumen, as you'll be collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in computer science or data engineering. You should be comfortable with data manipulation, API integration, and have experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot. Knowledge of web scraping, data visualization, and cloud platforms would be advantageous.

Responsibilities For Data and Automation Engineer

  • Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources
  • Build automated pipelines for lead enrichment, deduplication, and validation
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across different systems
  • Automate manual processes such as Excel → cloud tool syncing and reporting dashboards
  • Develop scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into HubSpot CRM
  • Support smooth data migration and syncing between legacy databases and HubSpot CRM
  • Develop automation rules inside HubSpot for lead routing, deduplication, and reporting
  • Create monitoring dashboards for data pipeline health and performance

Requirements For Data and Automation Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in data automation, engineering, or business process automation
  • Strong skills in Python / SQL / APIs (for data scraping and ETL)
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM or similar CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Excel automation, Google Sheets, and cloud tools
  • Experience with workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, Power Automate, UiPath)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in web scraping frameworks (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium) preferred
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) preferred
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
  • Familiarity with machine learning basics preferred
