EPS Consultants is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to join their team in a hybrid work environment based in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on designing and implementing identity and access management solutions using technologies like Okta, CyberArk, SailPoint, and Azure AD. The position requires expertise in security protocols and cloud platforms, with responsibilities spanning from implementing SSO and MFA solutions to managing user lifecycle and access controls. Responsibilities For IAM Engineer
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, and RBAC frameworks
- Support IAM technology stack including monitoring, hygiene, and enhancements development
- Assist project teams with Active Directory integration patterns using AD and Azure AD
- Plan and implement updates to maintain, monitor, and support enterprise IAM tools
- Monitor and audit user activities and access to ensure compliance
- Implement and manage identity federation between on-premises and cloud environments
- Perform user lifecycle management tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues
- Automate IAM processes and workflows
- Drive continual improvement processes
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and drive implementation
Requirements For IAM Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience working with IAM technologies
- Strong knowledge of security protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP)
- Experience implementing and managing MFA and SSO solutions
- Understanding of user access control models (RBAC, ABAC)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
