Responsibilities For Quality Automation Engineer

  • Develop test strategies and automate tests using test frameworks
  • Write moderately complex code/scripts to test solutions, products and systems
  • Monitor product development and usage for product quality
  • Create test harnesses and infrastructure
  • Create automated tests based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Create thorough and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with peers, Product Owners and Test Lead
  • Execute test cases and validate product functionality
  • Create and track defects in JIRA

Requirements For Quality Automation Engineer

Java
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM major or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of software testing experience
  • Experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle
  • Experience with software testing tools like Cucumber, Selenium
  • Knowledge of software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Office products
  • Experience with cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Cloud Certification strongly preferred
