Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer (Maryland)
- Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Integrate security controls and tools throughout the software development lifecycle
- Manage and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Implement and maintain security for containerized applications using Docker
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
- Automate security monitoring, logging, and incident response procedures
- Ensure systems meet federal compliance standards
- Support the security of data platforms and services
- Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer (Maryland)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Security Engineering roles
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud security principles
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt)
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Understanding of containerization technologies and Docker security
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or Bash)
- U.S. citizen or Green Card holder able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 10+ years IT experience)
