Everfox, formerly known as Forcepoint Federal, is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their cybersecurity team in Herndon, VA. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer passionate about protecting critical data and networks from complex cyber threats.

You'll be working on cross-domain products, including Linux-based trusted access thin-client solutions. As a Software Engineer III, you'll be directly engaging with customers, providing advanced design and implementation of Everfox solutions. Responsibilities For Software Engineer III (TS/SCI w/CI Poly Required)

  • Develop & test new product capabilities for cross-domain products
  • Support and field critical customer driven requirements for secure data transfer
  • Engage directly with customers to provide advanced design and implementation
  • Troubleshoot on-site technical issues
  • Design and implement Cross Domain solutions including failover and load balancing
  • Develop data inspection policies using proprietary and open-source programming languages
  • Provide technical briefings to customers and corporate leadership
  • Provide training, troubleshooting, and on-site/remote support to customers

  • Familiarity with software development in Linux environments
