Expedia Group, a leading global travel technology company, is seeking a Security Engineer III to join their Threat and Attack Surface Management team. This role combines cybersecurity expertise with software engineering skills to protect Expedia's vast digital infrastructure. As a Security Engineer III, you'll be responsible for minimizing cybersecurity incidents across Expedia's hybrid cloud environment, implementing attack surface management practices, and leading security initiatives.

Responsibilities For Security Engineer III

Requirements For Security Engineer III

Python
Linux
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 4.5+ years of Cybersecurity experience
  • Knowledge of attack surface management and vulnerability management
  • Expertise in networking (MPLS/GRE tunnels, BGP, VPN deployment)
  • System administration skills in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Strong scripting abilities in Python and PowerShell
  • Understanding of web, backend, and streaming applications
  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, or cloud certifications preferred
