FIS is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their CTO organization supporting SRE functions for Banking Solutions, Payments and Capital Markets business. This hybrid role, based in Atlanta, GA, requires two days in-office and offers three days virtual work. The position plays a crucial role in driving innovation and transformation, focusing on customer-centric automation and reliability. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of SRE experience and strong expertise in cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and automation. Key responsibilities include designing monitoring solutions, implementing automation tools, managing incident response, and ensuring application reliability. Responsibilities For Software Engineer, SRE
- Design and maintain monitoring solutions for infrastructure, application performance, and user experience
- Implement automation tools to streamline tasks, scale infrastructure, and ensure seamless deployments
- Ensure application reliability, availability, and performance
- Lead incident response, including identification, triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization
- Manage deployment pipelines and configuration management
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans and backup strategies
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical incidents
Requirements For Software Engineer, SRE
- 7+ years of SRE experience
- Proficiency in development technologies, architectures, and platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IaC tools
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog) and logging frameworks
- Experience in incident management and post-mortem reviews
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
