Product Engineer - Front End

Flatfile is seeking a Product Engineer specializing in Front End development to join their growing team. This role presents an exciting opportunity at the intersection of AI and enterprise software, where you'll work on transforming data, optimizing performance, and building collaborative features. Reporting to Jon Bell, VP of Product, you'll be part of a post-product market fit AI company with rapidly accelerating growth and substantial runway.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including React, TypeScript, and various modern frontend tools. You'll be responsible for building scalable UI components, implementing complex React features, and evolving real-time collaborative editing capabilities. The tech stack includes Tailwind CSS, Styled-Components, Zustand + Immer for state management, and Tanstack React-Query for data handling.

The ideal candidate should have significant production experience, strong expertise in frontend technologies, and the ability to work autonomously. You'll be expected to make important technical decisions, engage in product discussions, and continuously adapt to new technologies. The role offers competitive compensation ($180K – $200K) with equity, and the flexibility of remote work.
