Flexport, a pioneering technology company in the global trade sector, is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their Customs team in Amsterdam. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on transforming international trade by automating customs declarations to an unprecedented level.

The position focuses on developing innovative solutions that make moving goods across borders more efficient and accessible for businesses of all sizes. As part of the Customs team, you'll work on creating the world's first public customs API and implementing AI-driven automation to streamline customs clearance processes.

The role combines technical expertise with business impact, requiring 3+ years of software engineering experience and a passion for solving complex logistical challenges. You'll work with a modern tech stack including Kotlin, React/TypeScript, and various other cutting-edge technologies while collaborating in a hybrid work environment that emphasizes in-person collaboration 2-3 times per week.
