Foodics is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join their remote team in Jordan. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in web application development and a strong foundation in modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Laravel framework, REST APIs, Redis caching, and relational databases. The position involves working on fintech applications, requiring both technical expertise and understanding of financial technology solutions. The role demands strong skills in unit testing, integration testing, and version control with Git, as well as proficiency in implementing queues and background processing. Requirements For Senior Software Engineer PAY (Back-End)
- More than 5 years experience building web applications using PHP
- More than 3 years experience with Laravel PHP framework
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests
- Solid understanding of REST APIs
- Good grasp of Redis and caching
- Solid understanding of Git
- Understanding of queues and background processing
- Extensive experience with relational databases
- Must be located in Jordan
- Proficiency in English
