Lead Full Stack Engineer

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join their AI & Digital Transformation group, a newly established team within Franklin Templeton Technologies. This role focuses on developing innovative digital investment products and solutions, particularly working with the Goals Optimization Engine (GOE) - a patented digital wealthtech/fintech product built on mathematical optimization, probability theory, and AI techniques.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in software development, particularly in building AI-based applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in full stack development, with expertise in Python, React, and modern frameworks like FastAPI and Node.js. They should be comfortable working with both relational and NoSQL databases, and have experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

As a lead engineer, you'll be responsible for guiding technical teams, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions. The role involves designing and implementing secure authentication systems, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and ensuring high standards of quality through regular testing and code reviews.
