Fresha, a leading marketplace platform for beauty & wellness, is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer for their B2B division in Warsaw. The role reports directly to the Head of Engineering and focuses on technical vision, strategy, and execution within the team.
The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for architectural decisions, technical guidance, and driving improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across business-critical systems. As a Staff Engineer, you'll be heavily involved in hands-on coding while leading cross-team technical initiatives and maintaining high engineering standards.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale systems, strong architectural expertise, and the ability to act as a technical multiplier for the organization. You'll work in a hybrid model (4 days office/1 day remote) at their Warsaw office, collaborating with diverse teams across Product, Design, Data, and QA.

- Own and deliver cross team and cross tribal technical initiatives
- Take ownership of architecture for a tribe
