This role is critical in developing and maintaining custom applications using NX-Open APIs and various programming languages to enable a Model Based Enterprise and create a true Digital Thread flow of information.
The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work on-site either in Evendale, OH or Detroit, MI for 3 days per week. The role combines software development expertise with CAD system knowledge, requiring strong programming skills in multiple languages including C++, C#, and Python, along with specific expertise in NX-Open APIs and CAD development.
As a CAD Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom applications that enhance GE Aerospace's engineering capabilities. You'll work with complex systems, debug production issues, and ensure the smooth integration of various technical solutions. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and maintaining technical documentation.
