Job Description

GE Aerospace, a world-leading provider of jet engines and aircraft systems, is seeking an experienced Teamcenter PLM Developer to join their MBE/PLM team. This role is crucial in developing new capabilities that will transform how GE Aerospace designs and builds next-generation aircraft engines. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the aerospace industry, focusing on NX/Teamcenter based applications and creating a true Digital Thread flow of information.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing PLM solutions that enable a Model Based Enterprise. This role requires a strong technical background in software development, particularly with Teamcenter PLM software, and various programming languages including C++, Java, and Python. The position demands expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on system integrations and customizations.

Working in a hybrid model at either Cincinnati, Ohio or Detroit, MI locations, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and technical excellence. Responsibilities For Teamcenter PLM Developer

  • Architect and design technical solutions to complex business requirements
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and determine potential impacts
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess business needs
  • Write technical specifications
  • Code complex/integrated customizations
  • Develop Teamcenter system integrations
  • Develop automated test scripts
  • Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations
  • Triage/debug production issues
  • Document system changes
  • Provide on-call support
  • Train/Mentor less experienced resources
  • Perform PLM data analysis

Requirements For Teamcenter PLM Developer

Java
Python
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience OR Associate's degree with 5+ years experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM software
  • Knowledge of C/C++/C#, Java, HTML, XML
  • Experience with Web services and REST framework
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (CGI, Perl, Python)
  • Experience with IDE (Visual Studio, Eclipse)
  • Understanding of AGILE/SCRUM process
  • Knowledge of Oracle database technologies and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
