Job Description

GE HealthCare is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in developing photon counting CT products. Responsibilities For Systems Engineer

  • Manage product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down
  • Lead systems feature development and technical risk retirement
  • Manage customer clinical evaluation sites for new product programs
  • Work across functions with subsystems including Software, Firmware, and Hardware
  • Define product requirements and manage interfaces between subsystems
  • Define system test strategy and perform product integration activities
  • Drive CTQ / Risk trades within teams
  • Contribute to system designs and collaborate with marketing and clinical partners
  • Support, coordinate and lead technical reviews

Requirements For Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM majors (Physics, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Proficient in software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB, Python, SysML, Simulink)
  • Proven ability to develop solutions for challenging design problems
  • Demonstrate ability to pursue tasks to completion
  • Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design
  • Technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines
