Senior Systems Engineer

GEM Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in a hybrid work environment. This role is part of our Engineering department and is based in New York. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems for our clients in the NYC area.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in providing technology consulting services to multiple clients. You will be required to make on-site visits to clients in the NYC area, so living in or near the New York City Metropolitan area is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex systems solutions for clients
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Conduct on-site visits to client locations in the NYC area
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Systems Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of various technologies and systems architectures
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Willingness to travel to client sites within the NYC area
