Responsibilities For Design Release Engineer - OTA/Service Programming

  • Author to-be packages for VeSCoM and controllers for OTA deployment
  • Release and promote part usages within GSPAS system
  • Research and triage systems or releases related issues
  • Collaborate with GSPAS IT teams on feature development
  • Lead GSPAS data engineers to improve authoring quality
  • Create and review metric data for quality improvement
  • Review and resolve service programming supports
  • Work with SQL to update Service Programming System database
  • Validate vehicle communication and module programming
  • Assist Techline Customer Support Center with issues
  • Support embedded software deployment projects

Requirements For Design Release Engineer - OTA/Service Programming

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in an OTA update, service programming, or diagnostic position
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to function autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional work
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • High-level oral and written communication skills
