Senior Backend Developer (.NET)
Job Description
Globaldev Group is seeking a Senior Backend Developer specialized in .NET technology. This remote position offers an opportunity to work with a Dream Team, with the flexibility to work from Ukraine or Poland. The role focuses on developing and maintaining backend services using .NET/C# and Entity Framework, building RESTful APIs, and working with Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend development, database modeling, and system design. They will collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions while maintaining high code quality, security, and performance standards. The position requires expertise in .NET technologies, SQL, and modern development practices, with additional value placed on experience with Azure services, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. This role offers the chance to work on scalable, enterprise-level solutions in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities For Senior Backend Developer (.NET)
- Collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET/C# and Entity Framework
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs with token-based authentication
- Work with database modelling, Stored Procedures, and SQL Functions in Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL
- Participate in designing Scalable, Maintainable, and Testable system components
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to maintain high code quality, testability, security, and performance
Requirements For Senior Backend Developer (.NET)
- Strong experience with .NET/C# and Entity Framework
- Experience building secure RESTful APIs using WebAPI
- Solid knowledge of T-SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, query optimization)
- Understanding of scalable system design using queues and asynchronous processing
- Ability to understand complex business requirements
- Good understanding of Git Workflows (feature branching, PRs)
- Experience working in Agile Teams
- Good communication skills in English
