Job Description

Google is seeking an experienced ASIC RTL Integration Engineer to join their hardware team in Bengaluru. This role combines technical leadership and hands-on engineering work in developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products.

The position requires deep expertise in hardware design, particularly in ASIC development and system-on-chip integration. You'll be leading a team of RTL engineers, working on complex sub-system and chip-level integration activities. The role involves close collaboration with architecture teams to develop implementation strategies that optimize for performance, power, and area (PPA).

As an ASIC RTL Integration Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of Google's hardware innovation, contributing to products used by millions worldwide. The role requires strong technical skills in Verilog/System Verilog, extensive experience with ASIC design methodologies, and a proven track record of successful silicon implementations.

Responsibilities For ASIC RTL Integration Engineer

  • Lead a team of ASIC RTL engineers on sub-system and chip-level Integration activities
  • Interact closely with architecture team and develop implementation strategies
  • Work with cross-functional team of Verification, Design for Test, Physical Design and Software teams

Requirements For ASIC RTL Integration Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in high-performance design, multi-power domains with clocking
  • Experience in multiple SoCs with silicon success
  • Experience with Verilog or System Verilog language
  • Experience with ASIC design methodologies for front quality checks
  • Experience with chip design flow and cross-domain understanding
  • Knowledge of Process Cores, Interconnects, Debug and Trace, Security, Interrupts, Clocks/Reset, Power/Voltage Domains, Pin-muxing
