Cloud Architect, Workspace

Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Architect for their Workspace team to guide customers through their cloud transformation journey. This role is part of the Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team, which helps businesses leverage Google's global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in cloud technologies and customer-facing skills.

As a Cloud Architect, you'll be responsible for leading virtual agent development engagements, designing conversational interfaces, and working closely with Google Cloud partners and customers. The role involves significant stakeholder management, from gathering requirements to addressing deployment needs. You'll collaborate with internal specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to develop best practices and methodologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in deploying workspace or similar technologies, managing cloud productivity solutions at the enterprise level, and working with SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS platforms. Knowledge of IT security practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance requirements, is crucial. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with approximately 30% travel for client engagements.
