Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) team is seeking a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer III to join their mission of advocating for Google's users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing and resolving technical problems, developing tools for operational scaling, and collaborating with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve Google's products. The role requires expertise in technical troubleshooting, data analysis using SQL, and experience with system administration (Linux/Unix).

Responsibilities For Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer III, gTech

  • Analyze and resolve technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access
  • Understand operational workflows, identify and define tool needs to enable operational scaling, and drive the development both new and ongoing and deployment of these tools with Engineering
  • Work with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products
  • Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions
