Job Description

Google is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. This role is part of Google's initiative to increase Black community representation in their workforce.

As a software engineer at Google, you'll work on critical projects spanning various technical areas including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and UI design. The position offers opportunities to switch teams and projects as both you and the business evolve.

Google's engineering focus means you'll be joining a company that tackles some of technology's greatest challenges. From Google Ads to Chrome, Android to YouTube, and social to local services, engineers at Google are making significant technological achievements that impact users globally.

The role requires versatility, leadership qualities, and enthusiasm for taking on new full-stack challenges. You'll be working in a collaborative environment where software development best practices and a robust engineering culture are emphasized. This position is specifically designed as a pipeline effort to generate Black+ community interest in opportunities at Google.

The position is based in either Belo Horizonte or São Paulo, Brazil, offering the chance to work at one of Google's dynamic office locations. Candidates should have a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and programming experience in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
