Engineering Director, AI, HR Engineering

Google's HR Engineering team is seeking a visionary Engineering Director to lead their new "AI Accelerator for HR Function" team in Hyderabad. This key leadership role will drive the technical strategy and execution of AI solutions that revolutionize HR operations at Google. The role requires an exceptional leader with deep expertise in both engineering management and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of software engineering experience, including proven success managing large engineering teams of 40+ people. They must have hands-on experience deploying ML/AI products in production environments and deep technical knowledge spanning NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and modern ML frameworks.

As Engineering Director, you will define the technical vision for AI-powered HR solutions, build and mentor a team of ML engineers and scientists, oversee product development lifecycles, and collaborate with product and UX partners.
